Welcoming Pilgrims All Year Round

There is a common assumption that Knock is only busy in the summer months, when coach parties fill the car parks and the Basilica hums with pilgrims. In truth, some of the most meaningful conversations we have happen on quiet January afternoons.

A pilgrim travelling alone, a family marking an anniversary, a person simply passing through — each one arrives carrying something. Our task is not to solve it, but to make space for it.

Franciscan hospitality has never depended on numbers. Whether we welcome fifty people or five, the invitation is the same: come as you are, and rest a while.
